If it weren’t for the City and County of Denver, it wouldn’t seem like Florida at all anymore, Gigi Dennis reports:
NO STATEWIDE RECOUNT WILL BE ORDERED FOR THE CU REGENT AT LARGE RACE
…Pursuant to C.R.S. 1-10.5-101, a recount would be mandatory if the difference between the highest number of votes cast and the next highest number of votes cast is less than or equal to one-half of one percent of the highest vote cast in that election. The difference between the two candidates in the CU Regent at Large race was 0.91 percent, with Ludwig winning the race.
There’ll be no street boxing match to settle the mayor’s race in Dacono, either. Which is too bad: we would have carried that in live streaming video.
